The assessment test is probably the most typical tvpe of usability test conducted. Of all the tests, it is  probably the simplest and most straightforward for the novice usability professional to design and conduct. Assessment tests are conducted either early or midway into the product development cycle, usually after the fundamental or high-Ievel design or organizaron of the product has been established.
