Comparison Test - I

When
The comparison test is not associated with any specific point in the product development lifecycle. In the early stages, it can be used to compare several radically different interface styles via an exploratory test, to see which has the greatest potential with the proposed target population. Toward the middle of the lifecycle, a comparison test can be used to measure the effectiveness of a single element, such as whether pictorial buttons or textual buttons are preferred by users. Toward the end of the lifecycle, a comparison test can be
used to see how the released product stacks up against a competitor's product.
